Aspiration of independence of any nation never dies.

M A Hossain

India's ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) not only are withdrawing all the cases lodged against Radical Hindus, who were behind the Gujarat genocide ;that brought ill reputation for BJP boss Narendra Modi and branded him as the Butcher of Gujarat, the mighty leaders of the party now aren't feeling any shame in labeling that genocide as 'concocted'.  Muslims already are being accused of 'making the genocide drama' themselves with the 'ulterior motive of defaming Hindus and India'.

In recent months, BJP also has declared a cold war against Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and few of his Sikh cabinet members. Top brasses of BJP even are showing all the vigor in branding Trudeau's government as 'platform of the Khalistanis'.

Decades back, inhabitants of the Indian state of Punjabi waged a liberation movement demanding a separate Sikh country named Khalistan,in the Punjab state. The then prime minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi turned furious at such freedom movement, although her government were extending fullest support towards liberation movement of the Tibetans as well as Buluchs, respectively against China and Pakistan. Till date,anti-Beijing Tibetan activities are getting shelter and fund from India while activities of independent Baluchistan movement also are getting similar supports. India even has hired lobbyists in the west to accrue international support towards Tibet and Baluchistan movement.

In contrary, what India had done with the freedom fighters of the Khalistan movement? Indira Gandhi approved operation BLUE STAR and sent Indian army to stage a brutal massacre on the holy temple of the Sikhs in Punjab. Hundreds of Sikhs were brutally murdered inside the Golden Temple, while women and girls were gang-raped. Following this gruesome operation, radical Hindus went on ruthless offensives on the Sikh homes,  business establishments, temples and charities - set fire -ordered and raped en-messe. Everything happened under state patronization until  the Khalistan liberation movement were completely suffocated.

Political pundits as well as history of the past clearly show - aspirations of independence of any nation never dies! It is like a volcano - it may be sleeping today, but it certainly will erupt one day! Indian policymakers know this universal truth very precisely.  That is why, they cannot tolerate any leader or member of the Khalistan movement ; the same way, they don't show any mercy towards liberation movements in the North Eastern part of India - aka Seven Sisters. Being a developing country and yet far behind from attaining the status of a global power, India is making full attempts in exerting pressure on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his party in particular,  and Canada in general,  in expelling 'Khalistanis' from the Canadian politics.
New Delhi even did not hesitate in showing indecent attitude towards Mr. Trudeau during his recent India trip.

On March 23, 2018, a German based thinktanks, Bertelsmann Stiftung in its report on the quality of democracy,  governance and market economy said, Bangladesh is among five countries that no longer meet the minimum standards for a democracy and now are under autocratic rule.

This observation may be correct, but what is more important for everyone to know is - India gradually is slipping towards a radical Hindu ruled brutal dictatorship.
